Modern wedding entertainment at Acacia Ridge
With its breathtaking panoramic views of the Great Dividing Range, sun-drenched vineyards, and beautifully rustic character, Acacia Ridge offers an unforgettable backdrop for a relaxed, high-energy wedding celebration. We know this family-run Yarra Valley gem back-to-front and have a fantastic working relationship with their team, ensuring your day flows flawlessly from the first garden acoustic set to the final track on the dance floor.
We pair the venue’s effortlessly rustic winery vibe with a premium lineup of modern DJs and live musicians who know how to throw a proper party. We set the right vibes early in the day, before shifting gears to drop your favourite bangers on the dance floor.
Why we love Acacia Ridge
-
Ultimate flexibility for your ceremony sound
The outdoor ceremony space offers a truly beautiful backdrop, and the sound setup here is incredibly flexible. We can run our PA system completely battery-powered, but there is also the option to connect to mains power. This gives us total freedom to position the audio perfectly so every guest hears your vows without any technical constraints.
-
A dedicated cocktail hour space
The venue features a fantastic dedicated space just outside the main marquee for cocktail hour. Because there is power readily available in this outdoor zone, we can seamlessly run a smaller secondary sound setup to keep the upbeat, feel-good soundtrack flowing while your guests mingle and enjoy the valley views.
-
The perfect balance of reception sound
When it’s time for the reception, the layout works brilliantly for a party. The DJ is located in a separate, dedicated dance floor area, and we plug directly into the venue’s smart internal sound system. This system feeds speakers throughout the marquee for clear dinner audio and speeches, alongside a dedicated sound ceiling and additional speakers over the dance floor.
-
Golden hour soundtracks
The sunsets at Acacia Ridge are nothing short of legendary. We love playing on this moment musically Imagine: shifting from bright, soulful acoustic versions or feel-good indie tracks during the afternoon cocktail hour into warm, upbeat house or classic vibes just as the sun drops behind the mountains. Bliss!

What do our clients say?
On the wedding night the music was amazing, the vibes were high, I am so happy we booked her as our MC as the flow of the night was perfect.
Really candid and natural ceremony and she was an amazing celebrant.
Would definitely recommend booking for all three services if you’re getting married
Aleks completely understood the brief: gay divas party vibes from start to finish! Her expertise in reading the room, choosing the right songs, and keeping the dancefloor full all night was honestly incredible. We had guests telling us afterwards how much fun they had dancing, and that’s a huge credit to her.
We also loved the extra services she offered. The dancefloor lighting completely transformed the space and created the perfect party atmosphere, and the audio guest book has become one of our favourite keepsakes from the night. Being able to hear heartfelt (and hilarious!) messages from our family and friends is something we’ll treasure forever.
If you’re looking for a DJ who is organised, easy to work with, genuinely cares about creating an amazing experience, and knows exactly how to keep the party going, we couldn’t recommend One More Song and Aleks more highly. Thank you for making our wedding unforgettable!

She completely understood our slightly tricky mix of music tastes and somehow managed to create the perfect soundtrack for the night. She played such a big part in making our wedding feel so special and memorable.
Thank you so much Aleks!
We couldn't recommend you more highly for anyone planning their wedding.
Eddy was also kind enough to film our first look as he was setting up during the moment, a moment we will forever have on video now. Thank you so much, Eddy!
From our very first meeting, Aleks totally got our vibe. In the lead-up to the big day, her communication and support were excellent, and we felt like we were in very safe hands the entire time.
On the night itself, we genuinely had the absolute best time and everyone (and we mean literally EVERYONE) was raving to us for weeks after about how amazing the tunes were. From the moment the dance floor opened, it was packed, and it stayed that way all night. Our siblings slipped downstairs for a bit and told us they could see the ceiling vibrating from the dance floor absolutely popping off. It got to the end of the night and we even had to arrange an impromptu wedding exit just to get people off the dance floor...we reckon everyone could have kept going for hours more! The vibes were unreal and we had an absolute blast 💥
We can't recommend Aleks and One More Song highly enough!

We got so much positive feedback from our friends and family, with lots of people asking if we had made the playlist ourselves because it felt so perfectly “us.” On the day, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Eddy took care of everything and coordinated with our venue seamlessly, which made the whole night completely stress-free. He was an absolute highlight and helped make the party one of the best parts of the day.
From our very first enquiry we knew we were in good hands. Everything was so easy and straight forward which was a big help during the wedding planning process, knowing that you have professionals who have your back and care about providing the best possible experience!
We booked DJ and MC services and we loved how effortlessly the night flowed.
The dancefloor was everything we wanted and more, the music was perfect with all of our favourite songs. Everyone is still talking about how good the dancefloor was!
Thank you again Aleks, we hope we'll see you at another wedding soon!
