Easy plug in for your DJ
The main indoor dining area doubles as your ceremony and reception space, keeping everything completely contained and effortless. Our DJs plug straight into their house system and small foldback speaker, so it’s nice and easy for us too. They even provide the same slick, black DJ booth many of our DJs use, so it’s one less thing we have to lug in!

To keep the atmosphere electric, we position our modern DJ booth right at the heart of the main indoor room, keeping it tightly integrated with the indoor bar and dance floor zone. This ensures guests are never fractured or separated from the music when they head to grab a drink.

The interior spaces feature gorgeous industrial elements like exposed brick, concrete floors, and large glass windows. This makes the venue look effortlessly cool, and even better with our signature up lights, splashing some colour against them.

While inner-north venues can sometimes be a logistical headache for us vendors due to tight lanes and clearways, Hotel Railway has straightforward street-level access that makes loading equipment in and out nice and easy. Our DJs and live musicians manage the entire setup independently, coordinating directly with the venue so everything is sound-checked and ready to roll before your first guest arrives.

Aleks completely understood the brief: gay divas party vibes from start to finish! Her expertise in reading the room, choosing the right songs, and keeping the dancefloor full all night was honestly incredible. We had guests telling us afterwards how much fun they had dancing, and that’s a huge credit to her.
We also loved the extra services she offered. The dancefloor lighting completely transformed the space and created the perfect party atmosphere, and the audio guest book has become one of our favourite keepsakes from the night. Being able to hear heartfelt (and hilarious!) messages from our family and friends is something we’ll treasure forever.

From our very first meeting, Aleks totally got our vibe. In the lead-up to the big day, her communication and support were excellent, and we felt like we were in very safe hands the entire time.
On the night itself, we genuinely had the absolute best time and everyone (and we mean literally EVERYONE) was raving to us for weeks after about how amazing the tunes were. From the moment the dance floor opened, it was packed, and it stayed that way all night. Our siblings slipped downstairs for a bit and told us they could see the ceiling vibrating from the dance floor absolutely popping off. It got to the end of the night and we even had to arrange an impromptu wedding exit just to get people off the dance floor...we reckon everyone could have kept going for hours more! The vibes were unreal and we had an absolute blast 💥

Eddy took care of everything and coordinated with our venue seamlessly, which made the whole night completely stress-free.
