If you’re looking for one fun vendor to marry you, play tunes and MC your wedding, hello! Read on to learn how we’re able to deliver all three services in one on your big day.
Celebrant, DJ + MC services on the day
Why have three separate people to deal with as your celebrant, DJ and MC, when you can have just one (either Eddy or Aleks)?
The “Triple Threat” (Celebrant + DJ + MC) package includes us there all day, including:
- Celebrant services – all the legal paperwork, a fully personalised ceremony, professional sound equipment and playlist for pre and post-ceremony included
- DJ package – 5 hours of rocking your reception with one full set up – DJ booth, decks, speakers and a wireless mic
- Basic MC service – covering all announcements throughout the night and coordination of the venue and all vendors!
Travel gigs (more than 40 km from the Melbourne CBD) incur a travel charge and are taken on a case-by-case basis – check your date.

How we work together in the lead up
Of course, there are hours of work that go into each and every wedding.
We’ll be with you every step of the way to guide you through the whole process, including:
- Sitting down with you over a drink and planning your ceremony vibe, structure and inclusions
- Helping you with the run sheet for your whole day (pre-ceremony right through to the end of the reception)
- Capturing all of your music preferences and requests and of course, offering our expertise on everything music!
- Getting all the juicy details of you guys as a couple with our online questionnaires so we can write your story
- Sorting out all the required paperwork required to get you legally married
- Final video catch up to run through all the important details for your big day!
How can one person do it all?!
Here’s how we do things on your day…
When do you set up for the reception?
We’ll organise to bump in our equipment around two hours before the first guests start to arrive. This means I’ll have our DJ decks, speakers and mic set up well before the ceremony, too! For both your ceremony and reception it’s really important to me to have tunes going to set the vibe for each part of your day.
What about PA for the ceremony?
We’ll bring a battery powered speaker and mic for your ceremony playing a curated playlist (of your vibe!) as guests arrive. These can be played through either an iPod or iPad or mini set of DJ decks.
The ceremony set up is nice and quick – it only takes us about 10 to 15 minutes to get ourselves sorted!
We’re married (woohoo!). What do you do during cocktail hour?
Once your ceremony is finished, We’ll have some tunes going for cocktail hour (unless you have other entertainment organised like an acoustic artist) and grab you and your witnesses to get all the paperwork signed so we can register your marriage!
We may then join you for a quick photo and a cheeky congratulatory drinkey before making our way over to our main DJ set up to kick off the reception.
How do you DJ and MC at the same time?
Although we’re rocking it behind the decks for most of the night, we can still MC too!
As we work closely with all of our couples in the lead up, we’re all over your run sheet. Throughout the night we’re MCing, we’re also coordinating behind the scenes with the venue and vendors (like your photographer) to make sure everyone is aligned on timings and no moment is missed. we’ll always have tunes going, no matter what, so you can just enjoy your wedding!
