Modern entertainment at Studley Park Boathouse
Studley Park Boathouse balances its rich heritage character with breezy, modern riverside decks and cozy indoor event spaces. It’s a great choice for couples who want an indoor/outdoor, wedding vibe while staying close to the CBD. Because we know the venue layout well, we’re across how to manage the flow from space to space.
Our professional DJs and live musicians who know how to set the right vibe at Studley Park Boathouse. We keep the soundtrack on point while on the timber decks before heading inside to focus 100% on throwing an unforgettable party once the dance floor opens.
Why we love Studley Park Boathouse
-
Your dream ceremony backdrop
This venue gives you options, so pick the vibe that screams “you” early on. You can have your ceremony right on the water’s edge on the lower decks, or head over to the lush garden tucked away on the far side that The Perch looks over. Whichever spot you choose, our completely wireless, battery-powered gear means we are ready to bring the vibes wherever you may be.
-
High vibes for a cocktail reception
If you are ditching the formal sit-down for a cocktail party, the Perch and its surrounding decks are absolute gold. The layout is built for a flowing, high-energy night where guests can hop between the bar and the dance floor. We dial in an upbeat, sophisticated soundtrack right from the first drink, keeping the volume perfect so guests can chat outside while the main party builds inside.
-
Dining options from the Conservatory to Al Fresco
For the classic sit-down feast, the upstairs Conservatory is a stunning choice with panoramic Yarra views through those massive windows. But if you want something epic, you can dine al fresco right out on the main deck under the stars. The venue has built-in speakers that we can plug into for your dinner tunes or let an acoustic artist bring the vibes.
-
The ultimate late night party transition
Our absolute favorite itinerary here is hosting a beautiful outdoor dinner on the deck, then moving everyone up into the Conservatory for the final two hours. We’ve called this the “rave cave” in the past. We will have our main DJ system ready to go upstairs for your guests.

What do our clients say?
On the wedding night the music was amazing, the vibes were high, I am so happy we booked her as our MC as the flow of the night was perfect.
Really candid and natural ceremony and she was an amazing celebrant.
Would definitely recommend booking for all three services if you’re getting married
Aleks completely understood the brief: gay divas party vibes from start to finish! Her expertise in reading the room, choosing the right songs, and keeping the dancefloor full all night was honestly incredible. We had guests telling us afterwards how much fun they had dancing, and that’s a huge credit to her.
We also loved the extra services she offered. The dancefloor lighting completely transformed the space and created the perfect party atmosphere, and the audio guest book has become one of our favourite keepsakes from the night. Being able to hear heartfelt (and hilarious!) messages from our family and friends is something we’ll treasure forever.
If you’re looking for a DJ who is organised, easy to work with, genuinely cares about creating an amazing experience, and knows exactly how to keep the party going, we couldn’t recommend One More Song and Aleks more highly. Thank you for making our wedding unforgettable!

She completely understood our slightly tricky mix of music tastes and somehow managed to create the perfect soundtrack for the night. She played such a big part in making our wedding feel so special and memorable.
Thank you so much Aleks!
We couldn't recommend you more highly for anyone planning their wedding.
Eddy was also kind enough to film our first look as he was setting up during the moment, a moment we will forever have on video now. Thank you so much, Eddy!
From our very first meeting, Aleks totally got our vibe. In the lead-up to the big day, her communication and support were excellent, and we felt like we were in very safe hands the entire time.
On the night itself, we genuinely had the absolute best time and everyone (and we mean literally EVERYONE) was raving to us for weeks after about how amazing the tunes were. From the moment the dance floor opened, it was packed, and it stayed that way all night. Our siblings slipped downstairs for a bit and told us they could see the ceiling vibrating from the dance floor absolutely popping off. It got to the end of the night and we even had to arrange an impromptu wedding exit just to get people off the dance floor...we reckon everyone could have kept going for hours more! The vibes were unreal and we had an absolute blast 💥
We can't recommend Aleks and One More Song highly enough!

We got so much positive feedback from our friends and family, with lots of people asking if we had made the playlist ourselves because it felt so perfectly “us.” On the day, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Eddy took care of everything and coordinated with our venue seamlessly, which made the whole night completely stress-free. He was an absolute highlight and helped make the party one of the best parts of the day.
From our very first enquiry we knew we were in good hands. Everything was so easy and straight forward which was a big help during the wedding planning process, knowing that you have professionals who have your back and care about providing the best possible experience!
We booked DJ and MC services and we loved how effortlessly the night flowed.
The dancefloor was everything we wanted and more, the music was perfect with all of our favourite songs. Everyone is still talking about how good the dancefloor was!
Thank you again Aleks, we hope we'll see you at another wedding soon!
