A "no-fuss" regional location
While it has the sprawling feel of a deep Yarra Valley winery, it is actually located right on the gateway in Warrandyte South. This means you get the stunning vineyard and red-brick farmhouse backdrop without forcing your guests into a grueling one-hour-plus drive deeper into the valley.

Excellent indoors-to-outdoors flow
The venue features a beautiful, elevated outdoor verandah that overlooks the lawn and vineyards. It is a dream space for setting up a secondary battery-powered PA for cocktail hour. This setup lets us easily transition the performance outdoors, creating a brilliant, seamless ambient flow and giving us plenty of space to roam around on the sax while your guests mingle.

The venue staff at The Farm are notoriously supplier-friendly and coordinate directly with entertainers for seamless bump-in times. Because it is a spacious rural estate property, there is plenty of on-site parking close to the main building. This makes loading in equipment nice and easy.

Being a rural venue, it doesn’t suffer from the tight, immediate neighbour noise complaints that city-fringe spaces often do. While regional councils still maintain standard curfews, the solid red-brick construction of the main farmhouse reception room contains sound incredibly well – allowing for a fantastic, deep, and high-energy dance floor inside later in the night.

Aleks completely understood the brief: gay divas party vibes from start to finish! Her expertise in reading the room, choosing the right songs, and keeping the dancefloor full all night was honestly incredible. We had guests telling us afterwards how much fun they had dancing, and that’s a huge credit to her.
We also loved the extra services she offered. The dancefloor lighting completely transformed the space and created the perfect party atmosphere, and the audio guest book has become one of our favourite keepsakes from the night. Being able to hear heartfelt (and hilarious!) messages from our family and friends is something we’ll treasure forever.

From our very first meeting, Aleks totally got our vibe. In the lead-up to the big day, her communication and support were excellent, and we felt like we were in very safe hands the entire time.
On the night itself, we genuinely had the absolute best time and everyone (and we mean literally EVERYONE) was raving to us for weeks after about how amazing the tunes were. From the moment the dance floor opened, it was packed, and it stayed that way all night. Our siblings slipped downstairs for a bit and told us they could see the ceiling vibrating from the dance floor absolutely popping off. It got to the end of the night and we even had to arrange an impromptu wedding exit just to get people off the dance floor...we reckon everyone could have kept going for hours more! The vibes were unreal and we had an absolute blast 💥

We got so much positive feedback from our friends and family, with lots of people asking if we had made the playlist ourselves because it felt so perfectly “us.” On the day, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Eddy took care of everything and coordinated with our venue seamlessly, which made the whole night completely stress-free.
