Introducing 'Playlist My Day'!

‘Playlist My Day’ by One More Song DJs provides you with expertly picked tunes for all parts of your day for under a grand!

For $880 (incl. GST), we’ll create a custom playlist covering music from very first guest arrival through to the last song on the night. Your playlist will be put together by us – DJs Eddy and Aleks. We have over 15 years of wedding experience between us (yikes – makes us sound old!).

The good news is you can be located anywhere to book in our Playlist My Day services!

How it all works!

We’ve created a process that gives our couples lots of creative input but also keeps things nice and organised so we can really nail those playlists for you!

How our booking process works

🔥 Send through an enquiry at the bottom of this page.

🔥 We’ll come back with a booking form, contract, invoice and BOOM – we’re locked in!

🔥 Once we’re locked in, you’ll be sent a link to your “party brief” questionnaire, just like our regular DJ clients.

🔥 We’ll work with you to understand your run sheet, advise you on key songs and get to know your musical tastes.

🔥 You’ll have an opportunity to make specific song requests and tell us your “do-not-plays” (so important!).
How the playlists work

🔥 We’ve played at hundreds of wedding ceremonies and receptions!

🔥 We’ll make sure there is enough music for each part of your day with contingency built in for things running over time (hey, it’s a wedding – it happens!). Your playlist will be split into different segments

🔥 Your fave songs will be included and we’ll make sure there’s a good build and flow to the whole day.

🔥 You’ll get a chance to look over your playlists two weeks before and provide one round of feedback. We will also make them collaborative so you can remove or add tunes if you wish.

🔥 Once you’ve confirmed you’re happy, we’ll send the playlists to your venue or whoever is in charge of hitting play!

🔥 PS – Our service is limited to curating and supplying your playlist, meaning that Playlist My Day is not endorsed by or associated with Spotify or any of the artists, song writers, users or other parties followed on Spotify.
Our music philosophy

🔥 Did someone say bangers?! We have a strict “no ballads” policy. Our tunes are upbeat, fun, tasteful and recognisable.

🔥 We carefully curate the soundtrack for your big day by taking your music brief and adding our own flair and expertise.

🔥 Every single playlist is tailored to your tastes and preferences!

🔥 And importantly …. NO MORE NUTBUSH (or Chicken Dance, or Macarena – eww)!
Venue and sound considerations

🔥 Our Playlist My Day service does not include sound equipment, but we can recommend a supplier for speaker hire (in Melbourne) if your venue doesn’t have an in-house sound system you can use

🔥 We can’t be accountable for your venue’s WiFi, sound equipment quality or sound restrictions if you’re using your venue’s connection and sound system. To avoid experiencing connection issues, we recommend downloading all the playlists offline (this requires a Spotify Premium membership, which you would need to purchase before your wedding)!

🔥 Chat to your venue about what they can provide – most venues will have the ability to plug in an Apple or Android device to play music.
