Being experienced wedding DJs, we can handle high pressure situations and have the skills to play to a wide demographic.
As well as weddings, both of us (Aleks and Eddy) regularly play at a variety of corporate events, including:
- Industry conferences and summits
- Christmas and end of financial year events
- Launch parties
- Brand activations
- Galas and awards nights.
We are open format DJs, meaning we play for all types of music briefs from cool cocktail lounge music through to Top 40 pop favourites. Both of us can also provide MC services.
We also work with saxophonists and have a sleek self-operated photo booth you can add to your DJ!

Given you play a lot of weddings, how do you tailor your music set to a corporate event?
We do play a lot of weddings, and they set us up so well to play at corporate and business events! This is because to be a wedding DJ, you need to be able to cater to all ages and demographics. This requires vast musical knowledge and experience in reading a diverse crowd and responding to them (“reading the room”).
In terms of music for each event, we work closely with our clients on their music brief and every set is tailored specifically to the vibe our clients are after. It may be funky house and disco tunes, lounge music or a mix of pop through the decades – we are completely flexible!
Do you provide your own sound equipment?
Yes, our standard set up includes DJ decks, speakers (for one area, up to 150 guests) and a wireless microphone. The only exception is specific city venues with tricky load-ins, where we quote additionally for sound equipment and set up/pack down.
If you require further speakers, we can quote for this and provide extra equipment through our AV partner, who manages our sound setups.
If you already have an AV provider, we will work with them to provide our equipment rider and other requirements (we usually like to bring our own DJ decks, depending on the event).
What payment options do you offer?
We offer two different payment methods – either 50% upfront, with the balance due two weeks before, or for shorter lead times, 100% payment upfront.
What happens if the DJ booked for your event is unwell?
There are two of us, and it’s unlikely we are both booked for a mid week event, so we can often replace each other if needed. Otherwise, we have a very strong network of reliable and experienced DJs in Melbourne that we can lean on.
As all of our clients fill in an online questionnaire in the lead up, we can easily transfer this information to another DJ so they are on top of the brief in an emergency scenario.
What's your DJ style?
We both love to play fun and upbeat tunes, avoiding cringey music (think The Nutbush), and we love all types of bangers from 70s disco through to today’s dance hits. When it comes to mixing in our sets, our focus is on song selection and short transitions that keep the energy high on the dance floor!
We are reading the crowd all night so if something’s not working, we can quickly mix out of it – this is the benefit of a live mixing DJ as opposed to a Spotify playlist!

The launch of CU Health in Melbourne was an intimate dinner at high end venue Chancery Lane in the city.
The music brief was classy cocktail lounge, with the music becoming more upbeat for post dinner drinks and mingling.

Intrepid Travel Summit 2023 Dinner – DJ Aleks Mac
DJ Aleks Mac was joined by Kenny on sax for the dance floor part of the Intrepid Travel Summit 2024 Dinner. Held at the impressive venue THE LUME Melbourne, we kicked off the dance floor with lots of party favourites through the decades, including 90s dance anthems, pop singalongs and old school RnB!
